Ranked by annualised volatility - the standard deviation of daily returns scaled over 252 trading days. Higher means larger day-to-day swings in both directions, which is a measure of risk, not of direction.
Least volatile instruments
Ranked by annualised volatility, lowest first - the instruments whose daily returns have varied least over the past year.
Best risk-adjusted returns
Ranked by Sharpe ratio - return earned per unit of volatility, assuming a 0% risk-free rate. A high figure means the gains came with comparatively small swings; it says nothing about future returns.
Largest maximum drawdowns
Ranked by maximum drawdown - the largest peak-to-trough fall over the stored price history. It measures the worst loss an investor holding through the whole period would have sat through.
Most oversold this week
Ranked by price z-score, lowest first - how many standard deviations the current price sits below its own recent rolling mean. A reading under -2 is unusual by that symbol’s own standards, and only breaches from the past seven days are listed. It is a statement about the statistics, not a buy signal.
